This very tasty smoothie is loaded with vitamin C and minerals, and gives you a great pick me up in the morning or after a workout. Substitute any type of non-dairy milk, or water if you don't prefer milk. Yogurt is for making it creamy, however leaving it out for a vegan smoothie.
Ingredients
3 peeled and seeded oranges
Zest of 1 orange
1 banana
3 pitted dates
1 scoop of non-fat yogurt
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup almond milk
¾ cup ice cubes
Instructions
Zest 1 orange before you segment all the oranges.
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
