Healthy Salad Dressing is Not in a Bottle
Eating healthy isn’t just about the foods you buy, but how you prepare it – and what you put on it! I love a tangy, spicy, rich dressing but they don’t have to be from a bottle to taste great. One server (about 2 tablespoons) of Ranch Dressing is about 150 calories. And, imagine all the ingredients that are in bottled dressing to keep it fresh in the store for months.
5 Minutes to Prepare
All the dressings we show have simple ingredients that you generally have on hand in your pantry and kitchen. We also help you find recipes that are easy to make – if it takes me longer than 5 minutes I’m reaching for the bottle. Mincing and mixing should take 5 minutes or less. If you prefer you can also mix them in advance, and allow them to sit overnight before serving to help the ingredients ferment a bit. If you don’t have a fancy salad dressing shaker the best idea is a mason jar, making it simple to mix inside, screw on the top, and store indefinitely.
